News from Italy and Atlanta

 In Uncategorized

Creating cloth and cloth goods is essential and timeless, and Busatti has been doing this work for eight generations of their family. Busatti and their home of Anghiari in Tuscany are doing well. Their factory remains closed at this time, but they have been able to fully supply their town and nearby hospital with masks, and we are in contact regularly.

Here in Atlanta at our Busatti Villa Showroom + Shop, we are also well, and have been busy shipping and delivering Busatti masks, conferencing about and delivering home furnishings to clients, and planning ahead for a different time than we anticipated, just like the rest of the world. We had events on our spring calendar that we were so excited about:  a Rituals to Soothe the Soul tea tasting event with our friend clair thé (https://www.clairthe.com); a joyously colored and hummingbird-themed spring product event with Chantecaille cosmetics; and pop up shop planning with food and home friends. We will find a way to circle back to all of these.

Our lovely, quiet Floataway complex remains closed to visitors, but we have been checking on our space and doing organizing work there. A shipment, held at Busatti since Italian factories closed, will soon be arriving, with new items for our Showroom + Shop, orders for our clients, and more beautiful cloth masks-and we so look forward to when we are able to open our doors for a visit.

In the meantime, please send us an email for product requests that we have in our Shop- kitchen towels, aprons, napkins and more:  we can safely deliver to you in Atlanta, and mail elsewhere; send us questions; talk with us about your ideas for future orders and projects (bedding, tablecloths, runners, pillows, upholstery) – we’d love to hear from you!

Warm wishes,

Sheila & Busatti Villa
