We see Busatti at the US trade shows regularly, but had not visited their home in three years and it was a pleasure and privilege to return. To be reminded of the processes, see new looms, see archival patterns that are being renewed, to walk among the fabric stacks, and to see the faces of the voices we email or WhatsApp with - such a pleasure. And a reminder of why Busatti sustains its allure - it is a product of substance, imbued with a family and village history and the art, architecture, and landscape of its life.
