We visited Busatti in Anghiari this summer, seeing the looms in action, the staff cutting, folding and pressing orders, the stacks of fabric bolts and the historic home and space that their product is created in. Anghiari is a brief climbing drive from Arezzo surrounded by a verdant landscape. The village is vibrant and peaceful. The trattoria remains in our memory for its perfectly satisfying food but also the tablecloth-a simple, historic Busatti fabric in a rose/peach color-a trademark helping to define the place itself.
